One day your mom had a doctor appointment for a check up. Afterwards we went straight to Barnes & Noble. Your mom and I found the baby section with names to pick out. We sat down, and started combing through the pages. We threw a few names back and forth. I found the name Emma and told your mommy and she said she really liked it. Your mom wanted to hyphenate your name and she asked what I thought about Emma-Rose. It literally might've taken us 30 minutes to name you right there. Even though we didn't know what you would be just yet. I will never forget that. If you were a boy, your first name would be Jacobi.
Once we found out that you were going to be a girl, your Peepaw went to Hobby Lobby and bought the letters to your name. When he got home, he hung them up to surprise your mom.
We can't wait to meet you and love on you sweet Emma!
